Concussions from playing football can lead to problems later

In the short term, untreated concussions received by young athletes playing football, soccer,  ice hockey, or other contact sports, can trigger ADHD symptoms, problems with memory, and language trouble.

And what about later in life?  More and more former pro football players are suffering symptoms of Traumatic Brain Injury, Multiple Concussion Syndrome, and advanced premature brain aging.  Terry Bradshaw, on The Tonight Show last Wednesday night, shared that he has been under the care of Dr. Daniel Amen for the past 2 years for symptoms caused by traumatic brain injury due to multiple concussions he suffered while playing football.  ‘If I had a son today, I would not let him play football’, commented Terry.  Neurofeedback can help the brain recover from concussions.  See Terry’s interview here:
